REMOLD

Doctoral Network Funded by the European Union

How REMOLD works

REMOLD is a European Doctoral Network, funded by the EU as part of the MSCA program (see official announcement).

REMOLD will unite the work of 9 Doctoral Candidates (DCs) who work under the supervision of 12 Principal Investigators (PIs) based at 7 European Universities: TU Darmstadt, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Universität Bonn (Germany), Università degli Studi di Milano, Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy), ENS Lyon (France) and Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands).

To achieve REMOLD’s research goals, the network will hold regular network events at the involved universities and beyond. These events range from bringing the DCs to the state of the art concerning their working area, over soft-skill and networking aspects, to showcasing the DCs’ research at international conferences. This set of activities is rounded off by a training cooperation with a leading European quantum information company.

All DCs will gather for a special semester at the Università di Padova (March-June 2026). In addition, all DCs will spend at least one more semester at another university to work with specialists within and beyond the doctoral network.
